Matthias R. Schönbächler
A warm welcome to my profile!
Digital technology and contracts – as exciting to me as a good book. As data protection officer for the canton of Lucerne, my day-to-day work brought me into direct contact with the challenges of the digital world; today, I bring this expertise to bear for my clients in our Swiss law firm. From many years of voluntary work in the Jungwacht youth organisation, I have not only learned to work in a team and take on responsibility, but I also value social projects, which I am happy to get involved in privately. Outside the legal environment, I live out my passion for music, DJing, culture and festivals – enthusiasm that also benefits my legal approach: creative, empathetic and always with an eye for the big picture.
As a partner at the Lucerne-based BPS Legal for digital issues, I support companies with ICT outsourcing, data protection projects and all digital transformation issues. I equally enjoy drafting, editing and challenging contracts, from complex cooperation agreements and licence agreements to employment and rental contracts – with legal expertise and a human touch. As an English-speaking lawyer in Central Switzerland, I am eager to work with international clients and expats living and working in Lucerne, Zug or Central Switzerland.
I look forward to getting to know you and your legal challenges personally!
